My Latest creation

Well strictly speaking, one of my latest creations is actually God's! Yep, the cherub on the right is the newest member of our family! Darling little man :-)

The other is a layout I made for my husband for his birthday. I love the wording on it "before you were conceived I WANTED YOU; before you were born I LOVED YOU; before you were an hour old I WOULD GIVE MY LIFE FOR YOU"

It chokes me up every time I read it and it choked up my husband when I gave the layout to him. It has double the meaning for us because we nearly lost this cherub before he was a minute old and once again before he was a week old! THANKYOU GOD FOR THIS GORGEOUS BLESSING!

Yeehaa - it's finally in the magazine

Here's a layout I did many moons ago and have been looking forward to seeing it in Scrapbook Creations this month. I love candid photos. How about you?

In this layout I have used a Scripture by Design kit, some MM alphas and versacraft ink.

Scrap of Faith Word Challenge -Blessed

This month at Scrap of Faith, the word challenge is "blessed". I have used the word "blessing" (checked with Sal to make sure that was ok..l.o.l.!)

I have used Bazzil Cardstock, Scripture by Design Journal Card, paper blossoms and printed papers for this layout.

Life to the full!

This week it was my turn to set the challenge at SALT!

I chose "Life to the Full" It is inspired by John 10:10b where Jesus says "..I have come that they may have life and have it to the full."

I think that sometimes people think that being a Christian is about following rules and living a boring life. In fact quite the opposite is true. As a Christian I feel more alive than I ever have before and more free to be the woman Christ has made me to be. The greatest treasure in the whole world is peace with God. Having that makes me feel like I am living life to the full!

We were Scrapping at Scrap a While in Taree when I made a mistake on my layout. It actually turned out heaps nicer than I had planned!!

It shows the hand of a friend with her engagement ring on. This friend never dreamed that she would ever get married!!
