DCM Little Extra

The mid week dare at Daring Card Makers involves using spots and stripes!

Here's a pretty little card made for a little girl named NEVE who was born a week ago!

DCM Numbers

Awesome...a dare using numbers. My friends just bought their very first house and I wanted to make them a card!

You'll notice that there's a bit of denim on this card

(some is reversed and some the normal way).

The other day, my friend Gillian gave me a little bag with some of this denim in it. It was just what I needed to create this card for my friends! Thanks Gill!

DCM Faux

When you are stretched for time or even a bit tired and you just need a little creative fix, what better place to go than Daring Card Makers. Over at their clever blog, they have great little challenges twice a week!

This week's little extra was "Faux". L.O.L...So, I thought I'd give the faux a go!!!

The "faux" piece on this is the buckle. It's actually a soft drink can ring pull that has been done in 'opals'. Looks cool hey?! Not sure what colour this card looks like on your screen but is actually a beautiful eggplant colour (my favourite), combined with another 'faux' piece that is actually a piece of paper that has been made to look like a belt.

Blessings!

DCM- Little Extra "Fabulous"

Had a go at DCM's little extra this week. You had to use the word "fabulous".

So, here's a card for my Mum as she prepares to move into her new home.
Love using felt...it's so fun!

DCM Little Extra-recipe!

I think it's cool when you look at a recipe and think to yourself....Yep, I've got all those ingredients!

So when DCM posted their little extra with a simple recipe to follow...I thought I'd see if I could achieve it!

The colours are fairly sombre and classic. But I like to make my cards with the recipient in mind. So, I think this will suit the person I have chosen.
