Here's a fun little card. It looks a little blurry in the scan because the little Sculpey heart sits high above the rest of the card and it is the part that the scanner has focussed on!

My Latest creation

Well strictly speaking, one of my latest creations is actually God's! Yep, the cherub on the right is the newest member of our family! Darling little man :-)

The other is a layout I made for my husband for his birthday. I love the wording on it "before you were conceived I WANTED YOU; before you were born I LOVED YOU; before you were an hour old I WOULD GIVE MY LIFE FOR YOU"

It chokes me up every time I read it and it choked up my husband when I gave the layout to him. It has double the meaning for us because we nearly lost this cherub before he was a minute old and once again before he was a week old! THANKYOU GOD FOR THIS GORGEOUS BLESSING!

Long time no blog post!

Hello again, thought I'd share a Christmas creation with you. Check out what my cherubs created! YUM!

A new project to share

Ok so I know this isn't papercraft, but his is my first ever attempt at embroidery. I loved making it.

Also the reason I chose to do this and the reason behind my lack of blogging is that we are expecting baby # 3. WE are super excited :-) Up until now(we are just over half way), I have only been able to do short bursts of craft. Embroidery was something I could do when I felt sick or too tired to sit and do a big papercraft project.

Easter JOY

Yes, I know, I have neglected my blog for a little while and there are a few reasons behind that. But I won't elaborate on those just now. What I wanted to know is 'have you thought about Easter yet?' If so what have been thinking about? Easter eggs, hot cross buns or having a holiday? I want to share with you that there is a greater and longer lasting joy than chocolate and hot cross buns that will never fade or bring upon feelings of guilt about how much you have consumed. That Joy is a man named Jesus, who's life giving death and resurrection we celebrate at Easter. He's not all about keeping rules to make yourself 'good'. Plain and simply he wants a deep relationship with you because he LOVES you. It's when you start to experience this love, that Joy will be a core part of your existence and not just when the chocolate comes out. I pray that you may encouraged as you think on these things and explore the truth behind them.

Thought I would share some more photos of our no-dig garden! Here is a before and after sequence of shots. Here we have snow peas, zucchini, potatoes and beans.

Home Grown Feast

Check them out! These are our very own home grown potatoes. No chemicals, synthetic fertilisers or sprays. Just a great no-dig garden which is part of our new permaculture type focus in our little corner of the world. We have loved using our own lettuce, beans, herbs, peas and potatoes in our meals. We are now waiting for the tomatoes to ripen and the corn to be ready. Then we'll look at how our beetroot and carrots are going and see if the pumpkin have fruited.

It's a little different from scrapping but something I love just as much :-)

A Christmas Card

It's been a while since my last blog entry. Sorry about that :-(

Here's a little Christmas card I made for a class I'm teaching this week. If only I had time to make one of these for all my friends and family. What about you? Do you make cards for your friends and family??

You may have also noticed that after much prayerful consideration, I have decided to step down form the SALT design team for now. Life is more hectic than ever and I have had to make some tough decisions about where I spend my time. You may see me back creating with those lovely ladies in the future, when things settle down a bit!!
